Actus Payus allows lawyers from a wide range of practice areas to begin or further develop a legal practice by allowing them to accept clients at acceptable fees and prices without publishing the legal fees they usually accept. The lawyers are under no obligation to respond to case forms sent from the website and can choose the case forms they want.
The following four steps outline the Actus Payus process
Step 1: Consumers fill out caseform at Actus Payus
- Through direct client acquisition, and online and offline market outreach efforts, Actus Payus will assist consumers everyday seek lawyers for their disputes and legal issues.
- Consumers present their information/case through a basic caseform process where they choose their geographic location, select the area of law, give basic contact information, and name the price they would like to pay for the potential legal services.
Step 2: Member Lawyers/Law Firm Review Case Details
- Instant email notifications are sent to Member Lawyers/Law Firms in the geographic locations consumers have selected.
- Actus Payus membership is tailored for each lawyer/law firms geographic area. Member lawyers/law firms review the consumer cases that match their interest and availability and select appropriate cases for a response.
Step 3: Member Lawyers/Law Firm Respond to Cases that are of Interest
- Member lawyers/law firms have complete control of which potential cases they respond to and may respond to the consumer in any manner invited by the consumer through the caseform.
Step 4: An Consumer/Lawyer/Law Firm Match is Made (offsite)
- Consumers review member lawyer/law firm responses to the caseforms and through further communication with the professionals select one for their case.
- Together, member lawyer/law firms and consumers agree on the appropriate working relationship. Actus Payus does not guarantee a specific price or fee for consumers or any other aspect of the relationship.
